In general, the electoral process took place yesterday in a calm atmosphere, except for the tension that occurred in the second gymnasium of the city of Pyrgos. At polling station 332, the judicial representative had first placed—in all parcels voters received—the New Democracy ballot, causing the electoral representatives and executives of the other parties to “explode.” The immediate intervention of the Elias registrar towards the judicial representative defused the tension, and the police forces also arrived at the polling station, helping to lower the tone and continue voting.
