If there is a reason for someone to make the switch to it additional the beloved His ranks PlayStation PlusThis is the games catalog. This is a very big advantage for subscribers, because it gives them the possibility to experience games at a very low cost that they might not play in other circumstances.
So in this guide you will find a list of five great single player games that you can play right now on PS Plus. You've probably heard most of them. However, since many people skipped it for various reasons when it was first released, the game catalog is an ideal solution.
So, without further ado, here are 5 great single-player PS Plus games worth investing your time in.
Returning
Returnal is a special game from the first wave of PS5 exclusive games that many found difficult. This probably scared away a fair number of interested parties, who may not have wanted to invest €80 when it was first released. So its recent inclusion in the PS Plus catalog gives everyone the opportunity to enjoy a very special experience.
In his review for Unboxholics.com, Sakis Karpas called it “an inhospitable, hard-hitting, highly addictive shooter that's in the running for Game of the Year”. For more, you can watch the full video he prepared through the following player.

If Alan Wake 2 has whetted your appetite, or if you want to try a Remedy game to experience for yourself the special style of the Finnish studio that has been heard so much about, Control is a great suggestion from the PS Plus catalog.
In his review of the 2019 original, Sakis Karpas noted:
Control is a game that you enjoy playing first and foremost. It's that experience that makes you love the console. Scenario-wise, it sounds weird, weird and incomprehensible but that's part of the charm of Remedy's games. That is, you do not need to understand everything in order to appreciate it. Technically, despite the frame rate issues on consoles, it's a landmark for the medium and a sign of the new generation coming in 2020. Its Metroidvania structure is, in my opinion, its strong point, and I think it's a perfect fit. The house where the events take place. It's not a better game than Alan Wake, but it's certainly a lot better than Quantum Break. Although he did not have the support of some “financial giant,” he seemed to have had the necessary creative freedom. For those of you who like mysterious and special single-player experiences, Control is not to be missed!
Ghost runner
I've personally spoken several times on the Unboxholics Framerate podcast about Ghostrunner. Like Returnal, this is a fairly difficult game, which may have intimidated many from getting into it in the first place. With PS Plus, you can easily give it a chance and believe me, once you master it, you won't be able to put the console down.
In my review of the original version in 2020, I noted:
Ghostrunner is not a game for everyone. Difficult. very Difficult. It's governed by a gaming philosophy rooted in the arcade games of the 90s and 00s, with repetition, trial and error, and flawless execution of every move at its core. Its gameplay mechanics have received so much attention that they border on perfection, so when you enter its atmosphere, you truly feel like a talented and skilled ninja who with his sword and parkour can make the impossible possible. There are some design flaws in the environments and enemies, and I would like more content, but if you're a fan of the class or want to test your endurance and skill, I think it's a must-play.
The last guard
The Last Guardian is a game that is also on my personal favorites list. It has one of the most moving stories I've ever experienced in all my years of playing video games, and I think everyone should give it a chance.
It's an unforgettable journey that embodies why gaming is an art. Forget what you've heard about inappropriate behavior and just hit download!

Prey belongs to a very special genre of immersive simulation games and is a sort of “BioShock in Space,” trapping players in a space station where every creature could be a camouflaged alien! The game pays homage to the historical System Shock, with Arkane offering lessons in game and level design. It is an experience definitely worth your time!
