Nvidia promises massive performance boost in DirectX 12 games with latest drivers – Nvidia

Some performance improvements include relative double-digit increases in frame count, 1080p, 1440p, and even 4K resolutions.

Cyberpunk 2077 fans will see an improvement of up to 20% in Full HD resolution while Assassin’s Creed Valhalla jumps in frames by up to 25% at the same resolution. Also, in Control, the new drivers deliver 6% more frames at 4K resolution. Nvidia explains in Detailed blog. “Many of these improvements are very useful in CPU-heavy scenarios, allowing you to use your graphics card to a greater extent.”

Here is the full list of games and improvements GeForce GPU owners will see with the new drivers:

• Assassin’s Creed Valhalla: Up to 25% (1080p)
Battlefield 2042: up to 7% (1080p)
• Borderlands 3: up to 8% (1080p)
• Call of Duty: Vanguard: Up to 12% (4K)
• Control: up to 6% (4K)
• Cyberpunk 2077: Up to 20% (1080p)
• F1 22: up to 17% (4K)
Far Cry 6: up to 5% (1440p)
• Forza Horizon 5: up to 8% (1080P)
• Horizon Zero Dawn: Full Version: έως 8% (4k)
• Red Dead Redemption 2: Up to 7% (1080p)

The new driver version number is 522.25 and is also available for the new Nvidia RTX 4090 GPU that was just announced. This includes DLSS 3 support for Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered and Bright Memory: Infinite, providing much better performance than its predecessor.
