God of War: Ragnarok – video review

Ragnarok is finally here and the frenzy of noise is coming to an end. It’s also possible that the post-release frenzy will start, but that’s another story entirely. The important thing is that the new God of War, which really rocked the industry before it hit the shelves, is here, ready to tell its story.

The first game fundamentally changed the way we now see God of War, Kratos has matured, and so has the recipe. And if you ask me, I’m one of the biggest proponents of this change. Ragnarok comes to continue to put an end to the adventure of Kratos and his son, Atreus, in Norse mythology. I think it puts an exclamation point rather than a period, but that’s something you’ll understand better if you watch our video review.

Santa Monica is a very capable studio and in releases like Ragnarok they prove that they know very well what their fans want. The studio from the beautiful California coast has done everything to fill the sequel with value, to be fresh, and most of all fun and satisfying for gamers.

Although it has a similar structure, the title has a huge variety of environments, develops great gameplay, and ultimately offers an exciting adventure that is different from what most of you might expect. Simply put, Ragnarok is unpredictable and I can only see that as a good thing. Except for the change in style toward the lighter, more humorous path – In Places – which I don’t agree with, the sequel is bigger and better in almost all other areas.
