Bucks 103-109: Antetokounmpo changes shooting style and wins again in New York

It wasn’t the hardest match, but it wasn’t the easiest either. The Knicks did their best, putting pressure on the Bucks, but in the end Milwaukee won at Madison Square Garden (109-103) with Giannis Antikonmo To once again be the man who carried it from start to finish. With Bronson shifting his ankle early and heading to the locker room, the Knicks didn’t panic. exactly the contrary. It was unbelievable how he made open shots and how he sent them around him into the box (2/17 three-pointers in 20 minutes), before making his first 43-47 shot late in the first half.

With Holliday entering the second half with determination, the Bucks began to make baby moves to take control of the game. Giannis wrote 51-57 and scored two more baskets for a 60-61 lead, but his team just couldn’t get the job done. Knicks held firm, stayed close and fearlessly followed suit, but without scaring off Milwaukee who felt it would be easy or difficult to get a victory.

Antetokounmpo entered the fourth period with momentum, scoring six points and with Connaughton writing a 79-86 run that now gave Milwaukee a clear lead. Thibodeau’s timeout put the Knicks up 4-0, with Giannis immediately responding with a three-pointer, shooting and staying all over to prevent the home team from gaining a single possession. His fifth foul, four minutes from time, caused an upset, but a Lopez save and a shot from Holiday stopped any excessive anxiety the Stags were feeling at that point.

Greece Frick’s sixth error resulted in a challenge that didn’t work, Robinson scored 1/2 and the Knicks were a point away (102-103), with Bronson also getting a 1/2 for 103-103 at 47.6″.
