Giorgos Prokopio: Make Greece a center for ship drones
In response to the question whether there will be shipbuilding, Mr. Procopio stated that they will be “special vessels,” adding that shipyards target “unmanned aerial vehicles, unmanned autonomous vessels, coastal vessels… and yacht repair and maintenance.”
These are important projects that, when the shipyards start operating, will put Greece at the center of developments, in a sector that many believe is the future.
It would be interesting for drone ships to also be interested in ships with defense capabilities, an area in which Turkey is making very rapid strides.
