Pensions: 44.33% did not receive an increase or received a lesser increase

Pensions: 44.33% did not receive an increase or received a lesser increase

Almost half of retirees, about 44.33%, either did not receive a raise or received a much smaller amount than they expected.

A great controversy erupted about the increases in annuities. The item comes from the United Network for Retirees (ENDISY), which is highly critical of the Department of Labor.

According to the network’s data, the number of retirees who did not receive any increase in basic pensions amounted to 910,077 people, and pensioners who received increases much less than they should have amounted to 258,000. Cumulatively, these two categories amount to 1,168,077 people, or 44.33% of the total number of retirees in the country.

In detail, the network notes the following:

• The Ministry of Labor admitted that it paid a 7.75% increase to 1,724,713 retirees. But according to official information, up to 85% of the above number of beneficiaries will receive the full raise.

In practice, this means that approximately 258,000 retirees will be born who will have the “luck” to see an increase in their pensions, but at the same time they will have the “misfortune” to see that this increase is not 7.75%, but much smaller.

Thus, there are still approximately 1,466,000 beneficiaries who will actually receive the full raise. This figure corresponds to 55.64% of all retirees in the country.

• At the same time, there are 910,077 retirees, the Labor Department admitted, who missed out on increases this year due to the large personal difference. It represents 34.54% of all retirees in the country. That is, one out of every three retirees will not get an increase at all
