A few days after the funeral of former King Constantine and Tatiana Blatnik on social media, the 42-year-old wife of Nikolaos published a new post on her personal Instagram account.
Specifically, on Saturday afternoon, Tatyana Blatnik shared three photos and a touching message on Instagram.
He wrote in detail:
Authority. Dignity. Tradition. Pride.
All of these words come to mind when I look back at photos taken about two weeks ago. I still have tears in my eyes when I think of how this family came together to ensure that father, husband, grandfather, brother and former head of state – was buried with dignity.
A week of sleepless nights to organize a smooth funeral, which included accommodating eight heads of state and many other royals and dignitaries.
It was not an easy task.
I have never been so proud to be a part of this historic moment and this family that worked with grace, humility, and quiet strength supported and helped by so many.
In my last post, I said that I learned patriotism from my father-in-law. What I saw and felt more than ever with his passing was the concept of family. His legacy will live on forever through the love of his family and his people.
