Market pass – As of today, orders have been posted for each VAT number

Official Gazette 1425 / 17.1.2023 regarding the determination of the start and end time of the production process for the special application of Paragraph 5 of Article 115 of Law 5007/2022 (Market Entry Permit) has been published in the Official Gazette.

Specifically, it provides resolution:


Article 1
The start time of the production process for the special application of Paragraph 5 of Article 115 of the Law. 5007/2022




1. The start of the production process for the special application of Paragraph 5 of Article 115 of
5007/2022 begins February 21, 2023.

2. Submission of applications begins on February 21, 2023 for TINs ending on 1, 2, 3, and 4 and on February 22, 2023 for TINs ending on 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, and 0.

3. The productive function of the special application of Paragraph 5 of Article 115 of 5007/2022 Expires August 31, 2023.

4. For the rest, under no. 1170 / 19.1.2023 joint ministerial decision.

Relevant joint press release of the Ministries of Digital Governance, Finance, Development and Investment:

Market Pass has been up and running since this morning, via vouchers.gov.gr. This is the platform through which citizens can apply for financial assistance to cover part of the increased household costs during the months from February to July 2023. In this way, Market Pass aims to mitigate the consequences of the increase in the consumer price index bringing to households.

The assistance amounts to 10% of the monthly amount of purchases and its amount starts at €22 per month for single-member households and increases by €10 for each additional family member. Market Pass beneficiaries are all tax residents of Greece, as long as their declared household income for the 2021 tax year and the value of their real estate do not exceed the limits established according to the family class.

Market Pass applications can be submitted until March 15, 2023. The platform will open gradually, depending on the last AFM number of recipients. especially:

– Today, Tuesday, February 21, recipients whose A, F, and M end on 1, 2, 3, and 4 will be able to apply and
– Starting tomorrow, Wednesday, February 22nd, the platform will be open to all beneficiaries regardless of the expiration of their A. No.

Beneficiaries can choose how to receive Market Pass financial support:

– Either by issuing a non-physical digital card, which they will store on their smartphone and which they will show on their purchases. In this case, the beneficiaries will receive the total amount owed to them in five installments (one installment for February and March 2023 and four monthly installments until July 2023).
– Either by direct payment of the subsidy amount to a bank account that they will announce, if they do not have a smart device or do not wish to use it in this process. In this case, the beneficiaries will receive 80% of the amount owed to them in two quarterly installments.

Operating the platform is very simple. The citizen enters the Market Pass using the codes of the Taxisnet network either directly through vouchers.gov.gr, or from gov.gr, in the “Property and taxes” section and the “Citizens’ benefits” subsection. At the same time, there is the possibility of submitting the application through the KEP. All citizen information is retrieved automatically through the Interoperability Center of the General Secretariat for Public Administration Information Systems.

Market Pass was designed by Minister of State and Digital Governance Kyriakos Pierakakis, Minister of Finance Christos Staikouras, Minister of Development and Investment Adonis Georgiadis, Deputy Minister of Finance Theodoros Skilakakis, Deputy Minister of Digital Governance Theodoris Livanos, and Secretary. The general policy of the financial policy of Thanos Petralia of the Ministry of Finance and Secretary General of Public Management Information Systems of the Ministry of Digital Governance Dimosthenes Anagnostopoulos, as defined in paragraph 5 of Article 115 of the Law. 5007/2022 and below no. 1170/19-01-2023 and 1425/17-2-2023 joint ministerial decisions. The platform was implemented by the Information Society (KtP MAE), a supervised body of the Ministry of Digital Governance, in cooperation with the General Secretariat for Public Management Information Systems and the Independent Authority for Public Revenue (AADE).
