One of the most important parameters of the election night is the time when the results are announced. This year, due to the availability of digital tools, announcements will be released significantly earlier.

What polls show about the election

A few days ago, in a special broadcast for the election, ERT presented the results of eight polling agencies for the percentage of parties.

These are the results of public opinion gauges after polls conducted by eight well-known organizations in the first two months of 2023, but are the longest trend of voting intention recorded in last year’s gauges.

More broadly, the survey presented voting intentions recorded by polling agencies in January and February 2023, but an undecided “gray” zone. Also, percentages and differences between ND and SYRIZA and other parties from January 2022 to February 2023.

In the long run of voting intentions from January 2022 to February 2023, ND has always been ahead of SYRIZA, although its lead is shrinking. The peak of the spread came in February 2022 (+9.4%), and now it stands at +6.5%.

In the same period, based on the measurements of eight institutions, PASOK shows a downward trend, which peaked at 14% in February and is currently in decline, reaching 10.4%. The Hellenic solution also shows a decline, while KKE and MeRA25 seem to move at roughly the same levels.
