Jordan: The daughter of King Abdullah married Jamil Alexandros Thermiotis of Greek descent

Jordan: State television broadcast the wedding ceremony

The daughter of Jordan’s King Abdullah II, Princess Iman, today married Greek-born Jamil Alexandros Thermiotis. At a ceremony held at the Royal Palace near the capital, Amman.

State television broadcast the wedding of the princess, born in 1996, and Thermiotis, in the presence of the king, Queen Rania and other members of the royal family, in addition to the groom’s family.

Princess Iman, a graduate of Georgetown University in Washington, is the eldest daughter of the Jordanian royal couple and second in line to the throne after Prince Hussein bin Abdullah II.

Her husband, born in 1994 in Venezuela into a family of Greek descent, works as a financial advisor in New York.

The palace announced the couple’s engagement in July.
