A school teacher who tried to break up a fight was the victim of an angry mob of students and ended up in the hospital.
This is a terrible incident, as high school students brutally attacked the woman.
Students at Westfield High School in the spring tackled a teacher and vice principal on the floor as she tried to break up a fight.
A video appears to show the brutal beating on Thursday, April 27, which the teacher’s family said left her speechless.

The victim’s father said he was in excruciating head pain and needed a CT scan after the accident.
Other members of staff have now come forward to say they do not feel safe in their jobs and that parents would be “upset” if they knew how unsafe the school was.
Another teacher at the school told Click 2 Houston, “Three or four other kids fell on her. They threw her on the floor and started kicking her and pulling her hair.”
The teacher, who asked not to be named for fear of retaliation from the Spring Independent School District, told the outlet that she felt compelled to speak out after the traumatic incident.
Many people took to social media to express their disgust over the incident, with users describing the footage as “heartbreaking” and “disturbing”.
They called for the suspension of those responsible for their actions, some going so far as to say that they should be tried as adults in court.
“I am so devastated. These kids and their parents should be prosecuted too,” one user wrote.
School district announcement
The Spring Independent School District confirmed the location in a statement to DailyMail.com:
“On Thursday, April 27, an altercation occurred between two students at the ninth grade center at Westfield High School,” it said.
“Unfortunately, a staff member who was trying to intervene and stop the fighting was wounded,” he added.
To be clear, the employee was never the intended target of the altercation. “The employee sustained injuries as a result of his attempt to calm the situation down,” the statement added.
The district said it is fully investigating all of the students involved and that some have already been designated for disciplinary action.
“We take the safety of our students and staff very seriously and will have zero tolerance for any altercations or disruptions to learning at any of our schools,” the statement added.
