The honeymoon turned out to be a nightmare for the newly married couple from California. The man drowned on a beach in Hawaii, while the thieves snatched the couple’s belongings from the beach and got into their rental car.
Stephen Fan and his wife Brittany were celebrating their new life together Honolulu on the first of June. While Stephen was snorkeling, he disappeared beneath the waves at Electric Beach.
KTIV reported that a man who was diving at the scene pulled him ashore and bystanders began CPR before first responders arrived. Unfortunately, they couldn’t keep him alive.
They were married for only three months, according to one of them GoFundMe page .
“Since this could not be worse, all their possessions have been stolen, The thieves took their mobile phones, wallets, money, clothes, and even stole their rental carssays the GoFundMe page.
Honolulu is planning to put Lifeguard on the beach after a public outcryy to more reporters on the city’s beaches, according to KITV.
“We are shocked, disbelieved and devastated at the loss of a great man like Stephen.”GoFundMe page states. “Stephen always found a way to be a part of everyone’s lives, no matter the distance. Stephen was a true friend and an amazing husband, Stephen will be incredibly missed by everyone.”
