Kos: “Key” mobile phones in Anastasia’s disappearance case – latest evidence

As new facts come to light, the thriller continues on the disappearance of 27-year-old Anastasia in Kos.

During an investigation by the security forces, a 27-year-old man from Marmari, Kos was found to have no SIM card in his cell phone. The mobile phone was found by a security company employee about 500 meters from the home of a 32-year-old Bangladeshi man detained at the Khos police station.

The same procedure is expected to be followed on the mobile phone of the 32-year-old Bangladeshi and the mobile phone of his Pakistani roommate. Security officials have established that the 32-year-old man, who is being held as a suspect in Anastasia’s disappearance, is in conflict. He mentions that he left the girl at a certain place in Marmari around midnight on the evening of June 12, but this is not confirmed by cameras in the area. Instead, the person appears in an area moving alone, near his home.

Notably, the 32-year-old booked a flight to Italy on Wednesday, June 14, without even informing her roommate. The 32-year-old has bruises on his hands that could be signs of a struggle, but he says they came from grass during farm work.

As revealed by the analysis of the 27-year-old’s movements, he met foreigners at a restaurant at 19:30 and at a mini-market at 22:00.

According to reports, Anastasia knows the 32-year-old as he allegedly supplied her with hashish in the past. During this time, he may have taken advantage of his drunkenness and taken her to his house to provide hashish to rape her.

In fact, police have not ruled out that what happened between the suspect and the 27-year-old woman may have happened elsewhere. The 32-year-old’s statements did not match the points and times he moved.
