Japanese rivalry 20 years later – 700 hp Nissan Silvia jumps Toyota Supra with 600 hp straight

Two models, the absolute exponents of the Japanese school, go the opposite of absolute acceleration, but they are 20 years apart.

On the one hand, we have the Nissan Silvia S15, a model that in this particular format produces 700 horsepower that its owner has invested over $102,000 in improving. The car now has a 2.2 liter engine. (instead of the factory 2-liter. 247 hp), which, combined with a giant turbo and new brain mapping, produces 700 hp.

Opposite him we have the latest representative of the Japanese sports school, with the latest generation Toyota Supra, which retains the factory 3lt. However, the engine has received a significant improvement. A new turbo engine, a new exhaust system, and new brain mapping all bump the horsepower output to 600, costing $7,640.

One final note: The Supra has an eight-speed automatic, while the Nissan has a conventional manual. First the cars start from a standstill, then from 50 km/h, then from 80 km/h, and finally they have the highest gear in the “in” gearbox.
