Just before dusk but also just before dawn, on the southern trails of Stavros Niarchos Park, body and mind connect with hatha yoga classes with Yoga teacher Yannis Yabli.
The evening class will contain breathing exercises (pranayama), light to moderate exercises through asanas (body postures) and relaxation.
The structure of the course is aimed at a physical and energetic unloading to prepare the participants for the meditation that will follow.
The morning class will begin with gentle stretching movements of the body, continue with some body postures (asanas) that will balance it out forcefully and end with a “sun salutation” (a set of body postures in continuity/flow that is in nature light aerobic and energizes the body).
Classes will have gentle, moderate steps so that those unfamiliar with yoga classes can follow comfortably and applicants can deepen their technique.

Consider the full moon
Tuesday 01/08, 20.30-21.10, Southern Trails
Free entry on a first-come, first-served basis.
Just before dark, on the southern trails of Stavros Niarchos Park, body and mind are connected through meditation exercises with Yiannis Yabel.
The August Full Moon, the biggest moon of the year in the starry summer sky, is a wonderful opportunity that nature allows us to experience the conjunction of two energy centers in our bodies, Swadhisthana and Ajna. Through Ajna we experience our essential being, the spiritual fulfillment of ourselves. Through Swadhisthana we experience our being as personalities, with the associations we make in our physical world.

Meditation on the sun
Wed 02/07, 06.30-06.50, south lanes
Free entry on a first-come, first-served basis.
As soon as dawn breaks, on the southern trails of Stavros Niarchos Park, the meditation exercises continue with Yiannis Yabel.
The sun is the life-giving force in the world in which we live. Solar meditation acts as a catharsis. It takes us back to the essential properties that nature has given us. Light has the power to burn anything negative about us, heal us, calm us, create warmth, energize us, inspire us, and give us the power to become our dream makers.
In this specific meditation participants will “breathe” the light through a specific meditative visualization technique and have the opportunity to experience the energetic effects of the light.
