As we’ve informed you, in the past few days, countless angry, die-hard fans have started blowing up a review Diablo 4. It all started after the last patch of the game 1.1.0 this week, before the start of the insidious season.
The controversial update was intended to improve the game’s balance, but instead it appears to have downgraded all classes across the board. Worst of all it rendered wizards essentially useless at the end of the game. In practice, the update, which was supposed to fix gameplay issues, caused quite a stir among die-hard gamers.
Wanting to communicate as directly as possible with the community, the Blizzard He held an exceptional live broadcast, in which he confirmed:
We want to acknowledge everyone’s feedback about reducing player energy. We know it’s bad. We know it’s not fun. But we want to explain what we were specifically trying to achieve with this update and what changes players are finally seeing. And then, separately, we also want to talk about how we never plan to release a patch like this again in the future.
Meanwhile, Associate Game Director Joe Biborah explained that Blizzard’s goal was to slow down some builds that complete content too quickly. However, after realizing that these contractions were very “painful”, the team plans to make several changes.
Among other things, the company announced buffs for different aspects of the Wizard and Barbarian classes, an additional stash tab, an increase in the size of the elixir stack, as well as a reduction in the gold required for operation by about 40%.
