the rock games I announced a few days ago about the first port Red Dead Redemption to Playstation 4 And Nintendo Switch. The release of the title is nearing and some information regarding the Nintendo Switch release has just surfaced.
As Nintendo Life reports, Nintendo has updated its official digital store page and revealed how many GB you’ll need for free to install the game. Looks like you’ll need to make room on your console, for that Because Red Dead Redemptions needs 11.5 GB to install.
At the moment, we don’t know how many gigabytes the game has on PS4, because Sony hasn’t updated its page yet.
Check out the image from the Nintendo eShop that shows GB of “RDR”:
For the record, Red Dead Redemption was released in 2010 and developed by Rockstar San Diego. It is the second chapter in the Red Dead series, following 2004’s Red Dead Revolver. The game takes place in 1911, during the decline of the American frontier, and follows John Marston, an outlaw, who is forced by the government to hunt down his former gang members in exchange for his family’s freedom.
Its events are a direct continuation of the storyline of Red Dead Redemption 2 and the events that unfold with the Van Der Linde gang and John Marston.
The game has received rave reviews for its graphics, music, voice acting, gameplay, and story. In addition, it won several Game of the Year awards from various media, and is considered by many critics as one of the best video games of all time.
Two copies of Red Dead Redemption will be released digitally on August 17th at a cost of €49.99 and on October 13th in retail format. Regarding the PS4 version, let us tell you that it will also run normally on PS5 through backwards compatibility, while the package will also include the game expansion, Undead Nightmare. The port was developed by British studios Double Eleven.
