NASA: Soon the 60th flight of the Ingenuity helicopter to Mars

The US space agency announced yesterday that NASA’s Ingenuity helicopter will soon make its 60th trip to Mars.

Ingenuity’s 60th mission to the red planet is not expected until September 25. According to the mission’s design, it is expected to reach a height of 10 meters and travel a distance of 326 meters in 124 seconds.

The Ingenuity helicopter is expected to make its 60th mission to Mars after September 25.

Its specifications called for flights of up to 90 seconds, covering a distance of approximately 300 meters each time, and reaching a height of 3-4.5 meters above the surface of the Red Planet.

Ingenuity, as reported by APE-MPE, arrived at Jezero Crater on Mars on February 18, 2021, attached to NASA’s Perseverance robotic rover.
