A few days ago the huge update 2.0 was released Cyberpunk 2077, which radically changes the game, improving or transforming almost every aspect of it. For example, it brings redesigned skill and perk trees, redesigned cyberware and new ability system, vehicle combat and car chases, combat AI improvements, and much more.
However, as it seems, CD project A change in the game and something that many did not expect: His appearance Keanu Reeves. In particular, the 3D model of the character he plays, Johnny Silverhand, has been transformed with the 2.0 update. Observant players immediately realized that Johnny now bore a greater resemblance to the actor himself than the idealized image of the original.
The changes are particularly evident in the scenes where Johnny takes off his signature glasses. Now the tissues surrounding his eyes are more detailed, showing, for example, denser dark circles. This causes Johnny to appear more mature, perhaps a decade older, while still being an impressive character in the game.
Below you can see a comparison shared by X (formerly Twitter) user Synth Potato, where Keanu looks more “polished” and somewhat new in the original version. Below you’ll also find a video from YouTuber Lacry, highlighting the differences between the new Johnny and the Johnny from the older version of the game.
