Another 2023 game says “goodbye” because the schedule is chaotic this year!

We recently told you about THQ Nordic’s decision to move the horror game Alone in the Dark from 2023, after October was very busy with other releases. In fact, among other games we expect Assassin’s Creed Mirage, Forza Motorsport, The Lords of the Fallen, Alan Wake 2, Sonic Superstars, Spider-Man 2, Super Mario Bros Wonder, Metal Gear Solid Master Collection Vol 1 and many others.

now, Another 2023 title has been moved “overseas” for exactly the same reason. Initially, it was expected to take place in November, but the storm continues, as it will have to compete for the time and money of players, the new Yakuza or rather like Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erase His Name, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, Super Mario RPG, Persona 5 Tactics, Day Before and more.

It’s about Nephites: Ghosts of New Edenwhich at the beginning It was scheduled to take place on November 7, 2023. However, publishing company Focus Entertainment made the decision to move it to February 13, 2024saying:

With so many memorable games coming in 2023, it’s important for each one to shine. Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden is no exception. Even though the film is finished and ready for release, we want Red and Antea’s story to get the exposure it deserves.

As a result, we have made the decision, together with the DON’T NOD team, to postpone its release on PC and consoles to February 13, 2024. A perfect date for an epic love story!

Thank you for your patience.

In case you want a refresher, Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden is a project of Dontnod Entertainment. This is the team that gave us games like Life is Strange and Vampyr.

In Banishers we have a duo of heroes Red and Antea, with one trying to get close to the other, only to be separated by the spirit world, where Antea appears to be a spirit. In terms of gameplay, the title seems to have a battle system like God of War (2018), only here the spells cast by the main character are added. Naturally, Dontnod’s signature narrative elements are here as they allow you to make choices that will determine the outcome of the story.
