Dozens, if not hundreds, of young people are missing after Hamas gunmen attacked festivals in Israel.
23-year-old Hirsch Golberg Polen, who celebrated his birthday earlier this week, left his home on Friday night to go to the festival and since Saturday morning, his parents have not heard from him.
Before he disappeared, at 8:11 a.m. Saturday, Hirsch sent a text message to their parents. “I love you and I’m sorry,” he wrote to them.

He loved traveling and festivals – ‘We just want him to come home’
The 23-year-old hails from Berkeley, California. His father said so Jerusalem Post That his son enjoyed traveling and music festivals and dreamed of visiting India.
To achieve his dream, he works as a doctor and a waiter.
His father, who was shocked by Hamas’ armed attack on the festival, said the family was “sad and worried.”
“We just want him to come home and be safe,” his father said, and when asked what he would tell him if he could, he said, “We love you, come home.”

In videos circulated on social media, hundreds of young people can be seen enjoying and dancing to the energetic music as he sculpts.
At the end of the video, the camera “catches” black smoke in the sky, believed to have been caused either by rockets fired by Hamas towards Israel, or by Israeli forces’ fire.
