100 warships went out in the “parade”

Today, Türkiye celebrated the 100th anniversary of the founding of the modern state as defined by Kemal Ataturk.

On the occasion of the celebration, a large military parade was held in Istanbul, attended by thousands of citizens to express their admiration for the country’s armed forces. Young and old, holding Turkish flags in their hands, clapped enthusiastically during the parade, while many said they were deeply moved.

The centenary of the founding of the Turkish Republic was celebrated by showcasing the possibilities of transporting large military units:

The Turkish Ministry of Defense announced that 100 warships, including the TCG Anadolu, participated in a parade in the Bosphorus Strait on the occasion of the centenary of the founding of the Republic.

The ceremony was also attended by the first Turkish national frigate TCG Istanbul, which has not yet entered the Naval Command list.

The ceremony was accompanied by 20 fighter aircraft, including Turkish Stars and Soluturk aircraft. Finally, 101 cannon shots were fired during the parade.
