In a mixed jury court in Athens, the final act of the trial into the death of little Georgina is played out with the apology of Rula Bisbrigo, accused of killing her 12-year-old daughter.
The 34-year-old defendant will be asked to give explanations of what happened in the hospital wards, but what happened on the fateful day when the 12-year-old suffered a seizure, doctors managed to keep her alive, however, with serious health problems, she suffered from a quadriplegia.
In the media spotlight
The issue of the tragic death of the three children of the Tuskalakis-Pispriko couple has occupied all the media in Greece.
However, the case of the family’s three children’s deaths also seems to have “piqued” the BBC’s interest, with the British media airing a special programme.
As revealed by Roula Pispirigou’s defense lawyer, Alexis Kougias, there will be a broadcast on the BBC in the next few days entitled “Pispirigou Gate”.
Mr. Koogias argued.
“Some things just didn’t go right”
According to Alexis Kougia, the case was not properly examined by the Greek judiciary.
Speaking to MEGA, Mr. Gougias noted.
As he pointed out, from the moment he himself undertook the defense of Raulus Bisbrigo, “came one of the best toxicologists and generally the most serious physicians”.
A well-known criminologist testified in court against the 34-year-old defendant, the doctors “came to defend themselves so that the child was a quadriplegic due to a medical error and some could not see. They lied that they had not administered anything.”
