“The condition of Mary Chronopoulou hurts me very much. There were many obscene words at her funeral but you did not see them,” Makis Delaportas said of the late actress.
Today (26.12.2023) Makis Delaportas was invited to the festive episode of the program “Studio 4”, with the well-known actor and biographer of major Greek film stars opening his heart and confessing what he witnessed at the funeral of Maryam Chronopoulou.
“I am disappointed by the attitude of some at the funeral of Maryam (Chronopoulos). There was cannibalism that disturbed me very much for the people who were next to her,” said Makis Delaportas, among others, in his rich interview.
“You last saw me at her funeral when I was really devastated. I can't do theater at funerals and that's why I avoid going because I'm very emotional,” Makis Delaportas, who was also her close friend, then admitted.
“She did not want press photos of her last photo and it was done in her absence. It hurt me very much and when I left the house and cried it was for this reason and I say it now for the first time. There were inappropriate things, but you did not see them,” Makis Delaportas revealed.
“I alone did not like the picture of the coffin in the living room, where we were eating and drinking. There was a 'love contest', and some councils were held by a few people about what to do with cremation and so on, and I was invited to it but I did not go. He stressed Makis Delaportas: Mary Chronopoulou's condition hurts me very much.
