LG's new displays can also be used as TVs – LG

This narrative may seem a bit strange, but the Korean company has done a really good job.
The MyView series features three 32-inch displays with 4K resolution and a 60Hz refresh rate. Specifically, it is the budget model 32SR70U, the mid-range 32SR83U, and the high-end 32SR85U, the differences between which are summarized below:

• The 32SR70U has a non-adjustable stand, two USB 2.0 ports, a USB Type-C port with 45W charging capability (all you need for a laptop) and no camera support.

• the The 32SR83U has three USB Type-C ports for 65W charging (but no USB 2.0), better brightness, and a customizable stand while supporting the camera (sold separately).

• The 32SR85U has everything the 32SR83U does except it includes the camera, and USB Type-C charging is up to 90W.

The three MyView displays are therefore suitable for demanding daily and professional use, but not for gamers or content creators who rely heavily on color accuracy (although LG has not yet revealed details regarding color space coverage). But they are more flexible and can save owners from buying a TV (especially if their computer is in a bedroom or a small living room, for example). The elements that set them apart from others in their category are the presence of webOS, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth support as well as the remote control that surrounds them.

Of course, what LG did not tell us is the expected date for its new series of screens to appear on the market. However, in terms of pricing, the 32SR70U and 32SR83U will be priced at $499 (a strange decision as one would expect the former to be cheaper than the latter). The premium 32SR85U model will be available in the US for $599.
