Alston missed the first shot but made the second for a one-point lead at 0:39 (54-53) as both teams returned to the bench for another timeout. With 21.6 points remaining, Thorton made just one shot and the score rose to 54-54, with the game going to overtime.

Moratos gave Lavrio the lead with a long shot, but he received a technical penalty kick for his celebration, as he showed his team signal to the PAOK fans, and was sent off, the score was 57-55, and the clock indicated 4:25 remaining. Fredrickson made it 60-59 with a 3-pointer, but Castañeda promptly tied it again from the free throw line.
Castañeda found the basket again and even hit a layup, sending the score to 63-62. Fredriksson was accurate with his shots and made it 66-63 while there were 35.8 remaining before the end of the five-minute period, while after the end of the specified time, Castaneda reduced his shots to one point. He himself made moves in the final stage and thus PAOK won 66-65.
