End of the previous day – servers are closed

This is official yesterday It belongs to the past. Yesterday, Monday, January 22, its servers were permanently shut down, so even those who purchased the Early Access version for $40 can no longer play the game.

So The Day Before became one of the most iconic gaming “disasters” we've ever seen in the industry, going from being the best game on Steam that most people had on their wishlist to being completely and everywhere removed. 46 days after its launch.

For your information, The Day Before was released in Early Access on December 7th. On December 11, it was already announced that the studio behind the game, FNTASTIC, would be closing for good.

The relevant declaration then emphasized the following:

Today, we announce the closure of FNTASTIC. Unfortunately, the day before failed financially and we don't have the funds to continue. All revenues we receive will be used to pay off debts owed to our partners.

We really wanted to work and release new patches to show you the maximum capabilities of the game, but unfortunately, we don't have the money to continue working.

We did not take any money from the public during the previous day's development. There were no pre-orders or crowdfunding campaigns. We've worked tirelessly for five years, pouring blood, sweat and tears into this game.

The previous day immediately managed to enter the list of the ten worst-rated games on Steam, with the vast majority of users demanding their money back.
