WARNING: Lacta recalls batches of chocolate – what they found

A batch of Lacta chocolate on call Owner Mondelez is moving forward.

According to the company's announcement, the matter is: Batch of Lacta Oreo37 gram package, due to the possibility of the presence of a foreign body (a small piece of plastic).

“Mondelēz Hellas SA, with absolute respect for the consumer and prioritizing the excellent quality of its produced products, on its initiative proactively recalls in Greece an individual quantity of the following batches (OSK0934651, OSK0934652 and with a preferred consumption date) before: 8/18/2024) of the Oreo Lacta chocolate product 37 grams due to the possibility of a foreign body (a small piece of plastic).

It is emphasized that the above preventive recall does not concern any other batch of the specified product, as well as any other category of Oreo, Lacta or any other category of Mondelēz Hellas SA products. At the same time, the company, on its own initiative, informed the Unified Food Control Agency ( EFET) with this command. Consumers who have purchased a specific product are advised, as a precaution, not to consume it and contact the point of sale with proof of purchase for a refund, if desired.
