The three-year initiative will focus on three main pillars:

The first pillar – sports for all: Encouraging all age groups to participate in physical activity for at least one hour per week, promoting a healthier lifestyle in Nottinghamshire.

The second pillar – unity in sports: Bringing together semi-professional and professional clubs, from all sports, to work together to promote the sport, foster ambition and create career paths for young talent.

Pillar 3 – Improving Infrastructure: Conduct a comprehensive review of sports facilities with the aim of staging the Nottinghamshire Games across the county by the third anniversary of the scheme where people across the county can celebrate health, fitness and wellbeing through sport.
