  • Educational staff
  • Vendors and cashiers
  • Chefs

  • Musicians, singers, dancers, jugglers and various artists

What else did the ERGANI data show?

The same ERGANI data also showed the following regarding flows of wage labor in the private sector:

a. For the month of February

Private sector wage employment rose in February 2024, with a positive hiring and exit balance of 24,543 jobs.

Analytically:

  • Recruitment announcements reached 196,462 and departures reached 171,919.
  • Of the total 171,919 departures, 72,176 resulted from voluntary departures and 99,743 resulted from termination of open-ended contracts or expiration of fixed-term contracts.

It is noteworthy that there was a positive performance of 1,357 additional jobs last month, as this appeared from comparing the data for February 2024 with the data for the corresponding month of 2023. That is, there was a positive balance of 24,543 jobs last month. Of 23,186 job opportunities, which is a positive balance in February 2023.

B. For the first two months of 2024

In the first two months of 2024 (January-February), recruitment announcements totaled 391,463 jobs, and resignations amounted to 398,917. Of this number, 239,842 were the result of the termination of open-ended contracts or the expiry of fixed-term contracts, and 159,075 were voluntary departures.

Thus, the balance of wage labor flows during the first two months of 2024 (January-February) amounted to -7,454 jobs.
