Prince William – Kate Middleton: photo for their wedding anniversary

Prince William and Kate Middleton shared a photo of themselves today to celebrate Their 13th wedding anniversary.

The photo was posted on social media and shows the couple after their wedding in 2011.

Photographer Millie Pilkington commented: “Happy anniversary! I can't believe it was 13. I remember this moment so well. Sending you both so much love on this special day.”

They first met while studying at the University of St Andrews in Fife and were friends before they began their romance. The couple married at Westminster Abbey on April 29, 2011, and welcomed their first child, Prince George, in July 2013.

The beginning of this year was difficult for the couple, as both Kate and King Charles are undergoing treatment for cancer. The Princess of Wales revealed her health condition last month, after speculation about why she had not been seen for some time. She praised her husband for his support during “the difficult months for our entire family,” and said that having him by her side was a great source of comfort and reassurance.

The princess said her diagnosis had come as a huge shock, as the couple “did everything they could to treat and manage it privately for the benefit of our family.”
