A few hours ago Ubisoft Officially revealed the final name of the game Assassin’s Creed Codename Red. So according to Ubisoft’s error, Assassin’s Creed Shadows is expected to be released for consoles and PC November 15, 2024.
Meanwhile, data miner “Frax” who a few days ago leaked what turned out to be the game’s actual name, has also leaked details of the title’s DLC, which it’s now safe to assume is authentic.

At this point it should be noted that all upcoming Assassin’s Creed experiences, such as the “Shadows” adventure in Japan and the mysterious “Codename Hexe” adventure, will be part of Assassin’s Creed Infinity, which will serve as a central hub for the franchise. Of course, there are still many questions about exactly how Infinity works, but the questions are sure to be resolved soon.
It should be noted that according to previous rumors, Assassin’s Creed Shadows will contain two unique playable characters, a male samurai and a female shinobi. The male samurai will be an African refugee who joined Creed. According to unconfirmed rumours, this character will be based on Yasuke – the first African samurai who actually existed in real life in the late 1500s, and this assassin will play the role of a “brute” in the game with intense attacks.
It is still unclear which real-life female shinobi can be based on, but the reporter’s information confirms that they will be much more flexible compared to samurai in terms of gameplay. The two characters will have completely different features and weapons in the game, to make them different from each other.
In fact, there have been reports that the new Assassin’s Creed game will rely heavily on stealth, with the development team borrowing some ideas from the Splinter Cell games. For example, players will be able to hide in shadows, which they will be able to create, for example by putting out torches in environments, just like Sam Fisher can shoot torches. In addition, it will be possible to move enemy corpses and place them in difficult-to-find corners.
