All public gatherings banned in Attica due to the final match

Any outdoor public gathering and any type of procession are prohibited from 06:00 on 5/29 until 06:00 on 5/30 in Attica County due to the Conference League Final in New Philadelphia.

ELAS announced on Saturday another security measure that will be implemented in the context of the Europa League Final at the OPAP Arena between Olympiacos and Fiorentina on Wednesday 5/29 (22:00).

ELAS also announced its decision Director General of Police in Attica Any public gathering in the open air and any type of procession (pedestrian, motorized, etc.) are prohibited from 06:00 on 5/29 until 06:00 on 5/30 in the Attica Prefecture.

The following are excluded from the ban:

• The Argosaronic Islands

• The areas where activities and events related to the event in question are scheduled to take place, as well as pre-determined points for fan gatherings, as described below:

1. At SEF in Piraeus,

2. In Oka. (Stop No. 5) in Al-Moussi,

3. ISAP stations “Thissio” and “Irini” in Athens,

4. National Resistance Square (Kotzia Square) in Athens,

5. Jacqueline de Romegi Square (Thissio) in Athens,

6. Korai Square, Papanikoli Square (Marina Zayas) and “Giorgio Ginimata” Square (Chives, Amorgos and Agios Eleftherios pedestrian streets) in Piraeus.

As the Greek Police stated: “The above-mentioned ban is imposed, as there is a serious risk to public safety, due to the possibility of serious crimes being committed, especially against life, bodily integrity and property, and there is a serious threat of disruption of social and economic life, both in the areas of investigation of events – activities related to the match in question, as well as in other regions of Attiki State.
