Antonis Remos’ message to his fans: I have nothing to fear, come to my concerts

After his written statement in which he declared that he had never evaded taxes and called on the competent authorities to complete the audit of his funds, Antonis Remos posted a video on social media in which he addressed a message to his fans.

As he usually says, he has nothing to fear and explains that all the parties he has planned will go ahead as usual. “I feel obligated to this world that loves and supports me to be with it.”

“I trust”

Mr. Remus stated that he trusts his lawyer and also the regulatory authorities and the situation will be clarified with all the explanations and supporting documents that he will provide.

“I am not accused”

Earlier, Antonis Remus, in a written statement, said, among other things, “I have categorically never committed tax evasion,” and described the leaks related to the investigation by the Financial Prosecutor’s Office as “institutional oversight.”

He explained at the same time that he is not “accused” but “under investigation”, and he explained, “I will continue to work normally and will not cancel any concerts, because dozens of workers live off of them.”

It is noteworthy that the Anti-Money Laundering Authority, headed by the Honorary Prosecutor of the Supreme Court Charalambos Vourliotis, conducted an investigation into the singer’s company, which has no connection with activities in the entertainment sector, and found serious indications of tax evasion amounting to tax evasion of up to 1.5 million euros and money laundering.

The result, together with the evidence, has already been forwarded to the financial prosecutor, who will conduct a preliminary examination and, based on the evidence, proceed with his next steps.
