Family dog ​​finds mountain lion under decorating in Colorado house

This may or may not have been one of those cats, but increased winter activity is fairly typical as they follow them. Base prey down, especially mule deer that move to lower altitudes this time of year.

“The concentration of the cat around the western edge of the city and this leads to an increase in views and may have resulted in this cat being in the city looking for something to eat.”

Mountain lions hunt a variety of prey including large mammals such as deer and elk, and smaller mammals such as rodents.

CPW said in a later post that the animal had been moved for relocation far away from Boulder.
