Book Voucher: Applications are open

Detailed procedure for submitting applications for book vouchers. Steps to be followed by beneficiaries.

It started on Friday morning. Submission of applications electronically by beneficiaries and service providers for the DYPA Book Purchase Voucher ProgramApplications will be submitted until 16.8.2024 at 23:59.

total 150,000 checks of 25 euros each will be issued.including VAT, with a budget of 3,750,000 euros. The programme will be implemented in the period from 01.09.2024 to 31.12.2024.

Through the check, which is in the form of a unique electronic code number, beneficiaries can purchase any book they choose from the libraries and publishing houses affiliated with the suppliers’ registry with a 10% discount.

Book voucher beneficiaries

The beneficiaries are:

  • Employees who have a dependent employment relationship under private law at the end of the application deadline or
  • Employees insured due to a dependent employment relationship under the private law in e-EFKA in their professional category with contributions to the unemployment branch of DYPA, at any time during the period from 01.01.2023 to the day before the deadline for submitting applications or
  • Unemployed persons registered in the DYPA digital register with a continuous unemployment period of at least 3 months at the application deadline.

Income must not exceed 30,000 euros, Unless they have been unemployed for a long time, who, if single, must have an income of up to €16,000, if married up to €24,000 plus €5,000 for each child or if they are single parents up to €29,000, plus €5,000 for each child after the first.

The beneficiaries of the program are the spouses of the beneficiaries, when they are indirectly insured members, as well as the children of the beneficiaries over 5 years of age, provided that they are indirectly insured members of their own or of the other parent at the deadline for submitting applications.

The selection of beneficiaries is based on the registration of specific criteria (disability, single parent, number of children, income, first-time participation in the program) in an objective and transparent manner through DYPA’s Integrated Information System (ISIS).

Supplier Requests

The program providers are libraries and publishing houses of any legal form, which have a legal license to operate.

Starting this year, providers from the previous year will be automatically included in the Provider Register, as long as they update their participation.
