Jingo’s touching message: Greece, thank you

Elena Jingu, in her first Olympic participation, qualified for the javelin final, where she finished ninth.

The Greek European champion did not shoot as many times as she would have liked in the final, going out of the top eight after three shots, and cried in her coach’s arms because she knew she could go on and get a medal.

Upon her return to the country, Eliza Gengo thanked, via social media, those who sent her messages and also Greece.

Jingo’s message

“I cannot describe how touched I am these days, reading the endless messages of love and support you have sent me.

I feel grateful that in addition to my family and close people, there are all of you around me who rejoice in my joy and support me in difficult times.
For me this is the biggest success.
Greece, thank you!
