or Google Currently implementing #MadeByGoogle Keynote 2024 It has just introduced its four new phones. More specifically, the company announced the Pixel 9, Pixel 9 Pro, Pixel 9 Pro XL and Pixel 9 Pro Fold.
All four devices promise incredible performance with the company’s new, powerful Tensor G4 processor. Meanwhile, Google is currently giving a heavy presentation on the upgraded AI that all its phones will feature.
The Pixel 9 series sees a completely new design with curved edges and flat sides, while the “notch” on the back that houses the cameras has also changed. The base Pixel 9 model keeps the same size, but it will be 6.3 inches, while the 9 Pro XL will be 6.8 inches. Meanwhile, the 9 Pro Fold has a 6.3-inch display when unfolded, and an 8-inch display when unfolded. All the displays are OLED with Full HD+ resolution and of course a 120Hz refresh rate.
All Pro models in the series come with 16GB of RAM, while the base, cheaper Pixel 9 has 12GB. Google says its devices this year come with updated Gemini Nano technology that includes, among other things, multimedia, which can better read and analyze images and text.
The Pixel 9 series is the first Android phone in America to come with Satellite SOS, which we’ve seen from Apple for years. As for the cameras, the Pixel 9, 9 Pro, and 9 Pro XL have a brand-new 50-megapixel lens with an f/1.7 aperture, but they’ve also been upgraded with an ultrawide camera. The 9 Pro and 9 Pro XL also have a new 42-megapixel selfie camera that promises stunning photos, while the Pixel 9 stays at 10.5 megapixels, but for the first time with autofocus.
The Pixel 9 Pro Fold doesn’t have the same upgraded camera, as it only has a 48MP f/1.7 camera, while you’ll also find a slightly worse ultrawide camera than the aforementioned devices. Meanwhile, there’s also a telephoto lens similar to the one found on the 9 Pro and 9 Pro XL. The company says that selfies this year will be better.
The foldable phone has a 4,650mAh battery and promises to keep it “alive” for 24 hours. The Pixel 9 has a 4,700mAh battery and will be able to go from 0 to 55% in 30 minutes.
