Weather: “I don’t know when the instability will stop” – extreme events in Attica

The weather will change rapidly in the next few hours Due to rain and storm across the country.

More specifically, according to forecaster Theophanis Hatzigrivas, the extreme instability of the weather starts from Thursday and it is not yet known when it will stop. He asserts that the chances of hail are increasing, while intense electrical activity will also be present.

Extreme weather events will begin to affect the country from Thursday, while they will appear in Thessaloniki on Friday and Attica on Saturday. Temperatures for the season will gradually drop to normal, and will be slightly above average in the West, mainly locally.

“As announced several days ago, there will be an intensity of volatility from Thursday and it is not known when it will stop, as according to the latest forecast data there will definitely be a continuation in the new week.
▪️Instability, mainly from warm weather, affects almost all continents, the Ionian islands, the northern Aegean islands, Evia and the Sporades.
▪️In the rest of the Aegean and Crete, nothing special can be seen at this time and at least for the first few days.
▪️Chances of hail have increased over several areas, while there will be intense electrical activity.
▪️On Thursday strong events are emphasized in the west, on Friday strong events are emphasized in Thessaly, Macedonia and Styria, and on Saturday the eastern continental areas mainly including Attica, Sporades and Evia will take their turn.
▪️However, in general, there are strong events in different regions, both linearly and locally.
▪️Uncertainty will continue on Sunday, and as we said in the new week, but they have not clarified the areas and tensions.
▪️Temperatures for the season will gradually decrease, and inland, mainly in the West, will be slightly above average.
