«The Punisher“Alpha”, the modern drama series, is currently filming in Morocco, specifically Marrakech.

To prepare the actors, a small “village” of tents and containers was set up against the backdrop of the “jewel of Marrakech”, the Koutoubia Mosque. From the camp area, the group and actors Dimitris Lalos, Kostas Nikolis and Dimitris Kitsos moved to the heart of the city, where a crew was formed under the direction of director Michalis Konstantinos.

On a tricycle with a local driver, the group was transported to the heart of Medina. In the car, 7 people and a suitcase with the actors’ clothes were transported to the shooting location. In narrow streets, 2.5 meters wide, with shops right and left displaying their goods, with people, with bicycles and motorbikes, and people pulling carts, coming from the opposite direction.

The first stop for the shoot was inside a jewelry store, where the locals participated with their presence. The young man Markos (D. Kitsos) chooses the jewel of Fatima’s hand for his beloved Ellie. In the present, years later, Markos (D. Lalos) returns to the same place and finds himself emotionally in the same situation he was in back then and experiences the same feelings that defined his life. The memories, despite the years that have passed, are still fresh, as is the wound of betrayal.

Then, in a shop with hundreds of brass and bronze objects, from plates and mirrors to lamps and pendant lights, in a place where one would think Aladdin’s genie would be cast from somewhere, there are young Marcus (D. Kitsos) and young Alexis (K. Nicolis) talking to their family in Greece, in a scene crucial to the development of the series.

Here begins, from here begins the story of “The Punisher”, in the modern Alpha drama series, a story of love, betrayal, revenge. The central characters are linked to each other through relationships of power, strength, bonding, secrets, and hatred.
