He wasn’t ready to make any decisions and he didn’t make any decisions, but [Adam] shifter and [Jeff] Darlington mentioned it as fact. As you know, no decision has been made on that.”

“He had time to think with his family,” Brady Sr. said after his retirement.
“They all agreed that this is the path that works best for the Brady family,” added Brady Sr. “He’s as happy as he can be. …it took a little time to sort this thing out. I mean he’s in kind of uncharted territory. So if people seem to think he’s missed a step, hey, welcome to our world. No. A lot of people can make that decision at 44 years old and 45 years old.”
