A major operation was set up to take him to the hospital and doctors rushed him into surgery. The next few hours are critical and decisive for the course of his health. According to information from Cretapost.gr, everything happened on Sunday, May 19, 2024, at noon, when a 25-year-old Finn tried to dive from the rocks on the beach.
But it is not known how he lost his footing and fell on the rock and fell into the sea. Bathers who witnessed the incident immediately informed the authorities to rush to the spot along with EKAV ambulance and Coast Guard.
Wasting no time, the injured 25-year-old man was transferred to Heraklion University General Hospital.
There, doctors discovered that he had multiple injuries, including severe skull injuries.
The 25-year-old was immediately admitted for surgery as doctors said his condition was particularly critical.
