A TUI Airways flight attendant in the UK has shared a trick for passengers sitting in an aisle seat who want to feel more comfortable.
“You’re sitting in the aisle seat wondering why your arm isn’t going up?” Charlie Silver asks as she tries to lift the armrest in the hallway to no avail.
“There you go. Here’s a little hack for you. Press this little hidden button and voila! Your armrest will move freely up and down.”
The flight attendants fell ill because of the uniform: the clothing company went to court and was compensated $1 million

Silver touches a button on the underside of the armrest near the hinge in the stunning 13-second TikTok video, which has racked up 483,000 views since being posted last week.
TikTokers praised Silver and praised her for her helpful advice.
“I never knew,” said one.
“Thank you so much. I was on a TUI flight and had an arm brace.
“Most airlines are like that,” Silver replied with a blue heart.
“But why hide this option?” asked the third.
“It’s just a button that people don’t really know about,” Silver replied.
