A man died after falling at a Philadelphia show last week

A man has died after falling off a railroad track at the opening show of The Weeknd Tour in Philadelphia.

The Philadelphia Police Department confirmed to The Post that the concert player, who has not yet been identified, suffered head trauma after falling 40 feet into Lincoln Financial Field on July 14.

Officials say the 32-year-old was taken to Thomas Jefferson University Hospital shortly after 11pm and pronounced dead a few minutes after midnight.

The tour’s promoter, Live Nation, was also responsible for Travis Scott’s Killer Astroworld Festival PromoAs a result, 10 people were killed and hundreds injured.

After investigation, police said, they told the outlet that the man’s fall was apparently accidental.

Bob Lange, senior vice president of communications for the Philadelphia Eagles football team, which runs Lincoln, said the accident likely occurred after the concert ended while people were leaving the building.

The Post has reached out to the Philadelphia Police Department, Live Nation, and Lange for further comments.

The Weeknd “After Hours til Dawn” tour features the singer’s best tracks from his fourth and fifth studio albums, 2020 “After Hours” and “Dawn FM,” which were released earlier this year.

The tour was originally scheduled to begin at the Rogers Center in Toronto, but the concert was postponed due to a nationwide blackout, making the Philadelphia Show the opening party.
