A protest against a new Windows 11 feature that Microsoft is testing

at recent days Microsoft Copilot is working hard to create Copilot, the artificial intelligence it has integrated into a variety of its products, from Windows and the Edge browser to Paint and the Office suite. In fact, Microsoft considers Copilot so important that it has decided to change the layout of Windows keyboards after 30 years, and add a permanent dedicated button to all new computers that will be released from now on.

But now, the American giant has made another similar move that has led to outrage and fury on social media. especially, In the latest beta version of Windows 11, Copilot opens on its own automatically when the user turns on their computer. Advertise in Official blog Windows Insider said:

We're testing Copilot's automatic opening when Windows starts up on widescreen devices with some Windows Insiders in the Dev channel.

And of course, after negative reactions on social media, the American company updated its blog, clarifying exactly what it means by the term “widescreen devices”:

We're testing this experience on devices with a screen diagonal of at least 27 inches and a pixel width of at least 1920. In multi-display setups, you'll be limited to the home screen.

At the moment, it is not certain whether this change will be finalized and whether it will reach all Windows 11 users, but it is not unlikely considering how aggressively Microsoft has been promoting this technology.
