A woman beat up the doctor for not giving the election exemption paper
A doctor was punched by a woman at the Papageorgiou hospital in Thessaloniki for not issuing a fake license to bypass the electoral commission for the 2023 elections.
According to ThessToday.gr, the woman accompanied her husband to the emergency department of Papageorgiou Hospital and asked for a discharge paper so as not to be seen as a member of the electoral committee.
After the doctor, Apostolos Anthopoulos, refused to hand over the paper, the woman attacked the doctor and stabbed him in the neck.
“I told her that this is illegal and we are not going to do it. We offered to look at it and if there was a problem, we would only license it. However, he did not accept it”, the doctor, Apostolos Anthopoulos, reported to ThessToday.gr, insisting that the sequel was episodic.
“He was upset and initially he hurled verbal threats at me. He moved sharply towards me and finally attacked me, especially as I received two or three blows. “In the first instance the citizens intervened and removed her, while her husband urgently demanded permission in a harsh tone,” said The doctor insisted.
The incident was reported to the police and the hospital administration, and the doctor registered a case.
