AAA Games for iPhone and iPad That Are Not Very Popular – iPhone

The penetration of AAA games on iOS has not achieved the expected results, according to a recent survey.

Despite Apple’s efforts to attract major developers after the launch of the iPhone 15 Pro with A17 Pro SoC, data shows limited interest from users.

the Application forms Reports indicate that titles like Assassin’s Creed Mirage and Resident Evil Village haven’t seen much success on the App Store. For example, Assassin’s Creed Mirage, despite 123,000 downloads as of June 6, fewer than 3,000 users had purchased the full version at $49.99. Likewise, Resident Evil 4 had 357,000 installs, but only 7,000 purchases of the $29.99 full version.

Experts attribute this trend to several factors. Appmagic’s Andrei Zubov says smartphone users prefer casual games, designed for short gaming sessions with controls that adapt to the touchscreen. In addition, AAA games often require external controllers, while the small screen of smartphones does not provide the ideal experience for complex games.

Hardware limitations are also a drawback, as these games are only compatible with the latest iPhone and iPad models. In addition, the high cost of AAA titles compared to standard mobile games discourages many users.

While the ability to play such games on the iPhone is technologically impressive, it doesn’t seem to meet the preferences and habits of the majority of mobile users. Apple may need to rethink its strategy for promoting AAA titles on iOS.
