Emails fall into two main categories: reminders and tracking.
Reminders are sent to businesses that keep simple, double-booked books to file periodic VAT returns.

For double-entry companies, letters are sent monthly, while for single-entry companies, they are sent four times a year, a few days before the deadline for filing returns. Recipients who have not yet filed their declaration are responsible, according to specific criteria.
Tracing letters are sent to taxpayers who have not met their tax obligations on time. These letters are sent after the deadline for filing returns or paying debts.

Details of who will receive emails
VAT for companies keeping Applographic and Diplographic books: These letters are sent when the periodic VAT return is not submitted by the deadline.
Personal Income Tax: Sent when the personal income tax return is not filed on time.
Corporate Income Tax: Sent when a corporate income tax return is not filed on time.
Recent Past Due: Sent when approved debts due on the last day of the previous month are not paid on time.
Payroll Tax: Sent when payroll tax return is not filed on time, after data verification from external sources.
Other Tax Obligations: These letters relate to failure to file Property Data Return, filing blank VAT returns, failure to file Business Start/Change Return, etc.
Cross-references: These are sent when cross-references identify taxpayers who have not filed their tax return, despite being obligated, or have earned income that they have not included in their return.
