Agrinio: An unimaginable incident of domestic violence – he beat his ex-wife and threw her into the sea

Around this time another episode of domestic violence emerged in Agrinio, when a 36-year-old man beat his ex-wife and threw her into the sea.

According to Agrinionews.gr, the 36-year-old man was accused of beating her and throwing her into the sea after an argument with his 31-year-old ex-wife on Sunday night.

The victim reported the incident to the police, who were looking for the 36-year-old, before 5 a.m. on Monday morning.

The 31-year-old was first taken to the Astakov health center and then to Mesolonghi Hospital, where he did not want to stay.

Local media also indicated that the victim refused to be moved to another location or structure and to receive the panic button.

The investigation is being carried out by the Mesolonghi Police Domestic Violence Unit, while the Xiromero Police Department is investigating whether the 36-year-old man had the gun as claimed by the victim.
